Project Snapshot

“Big Fish”

Client: CPLC-1 “Big Fish”

Project Type: Industrial Distribution Facility

Scope: Ground up construction of a 1,456,000 square foot distribution warehouse across a 120 acre site

The Challenge

This project faced extraordinary scale and environmental pressure. The site experienced a total of 116 weather days during construction and the site contractor was not contracted directly with us or under our control. The facility spans 1,456,000 square feet across a 120 acre site with 33 acres of roof, 118,000 cubic yards of concrete, and 308 dock doors. In September of 2024 this distribution warehouse ranked as the 11th largest distribution warehouse in the United States. Maintaining schedule under these conditions required constant adjustment and disciplined execution.

Our Approach

EE Reed East implemented continuous resequencing and phasing across the entire site. Work was carefully planned to avoid saturated soil conditions while keeping building activities moving forward. Through daily communication, proactive planning, and real time decision making, the team pivoted around weather impacts and maintained momentum without compromising safety or quality.

The Outcome

With consistent coordination and close collaboration with trade partners EE Reed East worked through extreme weather conditions and delivered the project on time and on budget. Despite the challenges, the scale, and the environmental constraints, the project remained aligned with its original commitments.

Why It Matters

Promises made were promises kept. EE Reed East values its clients and goes beyond expectations by delivering exactly what was committed even under the most demanding conditions.
