Alex’s career brings a depth of experience focused on operations. Starting his career as a superintendent in the residential market, Alex focused on production, quality and safety. He then moved on to project management in the commercial market, where he developed his knowledge of project finance, scheduling and subcontractor relations. Prior to being promoted to Chief Strategy Officer, Alex was the Senior Vice President of Mission Critical, Build to Suit.

He is affiliated with Association of Builders and Contractors, CREDA (formerly NAIOP), and 7×24 Exchange. He is professionally accredited, including LEED AP, ASHE Certified Healthcare Constructor and Certified Data Center Manager.

Alex holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Building Construction from Virginia Tech along with multiple professional certifications. Alex enjoys community. He likes to build and create places and spaces that pull people together.

He lives in Vienna, Virginia, with his wife Angie and has four children: Kaitlin, Josh, Jake and Luke. Outside of the office, you can find Alex spending time outdoors in the mountains, mountain biking, hiking or fishing or at the lake, wakeboarding or relaxing with friends and family.
